The Pro Football Talk.com NFL Insider, tells Daybreak that ownership may become an issue in the league.
Mike Florio: "We've seen a steady increase in the franchise values... What would happen if Jerry Jones decided to entertain offers for the Cowboys? What would they be worth? And that's the thing, it's an astronomical increase in franchise value over the last 20-25 years. I was told by someone involved in NFL ownership last year, that at some point the NFL is going to have to dramatically change it's ownership requirements because there won't be enough people who have the money, to own enough of a team. Because you still have to have somebody who holds like 30 or 25% or something like that... At some point the values are going to be so high that it's not going to work, and they're going to have to come up with some other way to structure these deals."
